Twitter and conferences go hand-in-hand, and the IN-NW Digital Innovation & Leadership Conference, which took place on April 28 and 29 in Seattle, was no exception. Armed with smartphones, tablets and laptops, attendees took to Twitter to follow conversations, ask questions and share awesome nuggets of content. With a little help from Python and the Twitter API, I was “pickin’ up what they were puttin’ down.”
After the conference was over and the last tweets had been posted, I had a treasure trove of data, which I then used to create an interactive snapshot of the Twitter landscape during IN-NW (well, at least the part of the landscape with tweets that included the #INNW2015 conference hashtag).
So have fun digging in to this snapshot. You’ll see who got the crowd going, who the top tweeters were and what kinds of conversations were happening while the speakers gave their talks.
