What I meant to say was MySpace is the MTV of the Internet. And teens will embrace Twitter as more and more Ashton Kutcher's do.

Thank you for posting Paul Gillin’s Skype chat. It was great. I was very impressed by his perspective on Susan Boyle’s story and how she became a “global story” in a very short period of time. I wonder if the secret in these transition times is in the mixture of traditional media (Oprah’s mention on TV, local news, newspaper) and YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. I also wonder if anyone will forget Susan, since someone already eternalized her with a Wikipedia entry with over 70 references.

Thanks to social media, we were able to talk face to face with an expert in Boston and simultaneously engage in a discussion. There have been a few stories in the news about other campuses using Twitter in the classroom, but none to the same level of engagement as ours. It's exciting to be part of this.
