Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck marked their second wedding anniversary apart. The 54-year-old singer has been in New York for several weeks after taking a multi-day trip to Europe without the 51-year-old director and actor.
On July 16, the same day they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Las Vegas two years ago, Lopez was seen biking in the Hamptons. They later celebrated with a second ceremony for family and friends in Georgia that August.
For her outdoor outing, Lopez sported a white jumpsuit, brown sandals, and had her hair styled in a loose bun. She was also seen riding in the passenger seat of a black vehicle driven by her representative, Benny Medina.
Meanwhile, Affleck was spotted arriving at his Los Angeles office dressed in a black business suit along with his wedding ring, carrying a large canvas bag. The actor has spent much of the summer in California and missed several events with Lopez, including the Met Gala and the premiere of his film “Atlas,” due to working on “The Accountant 2.”
Although filming has recently concluded, Affleck has remained in Los Angeles even during the July 4 holiday. Their separation on the occasion of their second wedding anniversary comes just days after they publicly listed their Beverly Hills home for sale, amidst speculation about tensions in their marriage.
While neither has publicly addressed their relationship status, a source told People magazine in June that the couple “has no summer plans together” and are “focused on their separate lives.”
Affleck’s 18-year-old daughter, Violet, was recently spotted spending time with Lopez in the Hamptons, enjoying bike rides and summer drives. After their quality time, a source mentioned that Jennifer and Violet “really enjoy each other’s company.”
“They both seem very happy to spend this time together and are enjoying the moment,” the insider added.
Last year, Lopez commemorated their first anniversary by sharing wedding photos on Instagram, writing, “One year since our midnight trip to Vegas… visit On The JLo for a special surprise… #ThisIsMeNow.”
