Heidi Montag shared in an exclusive interview with E! News that Gunner has been eager to start his own channel. “We’re actually working on it,” she revealed. Despite their excitement, Spencer Pratt emphasized that there will be “no momager-dadager” situation. “He watches all these kids on YouTube and wonders why they get to unbox toys,” Spencer explained. “It’s not us—even though I’m so excited for his channel.”
Gunner is no stranger to social media. Both he and his 19-month-old brother, Ryker, have Instagram pages managed by their parents. Gunner’s account has already amassed over 70,000 followers, providing a solid foundation for his YouTube venture.
Spencer noted that Gunner is already quite savvy with social media, often directing his parents on what to post. “He’s like, ‘Show this to Snapchat. Dad, put this or don’t put this on Snapchat. We don’t want this,'” Spencer said. “So, he’s already a good little director.”
Gunner’s familiarity with fame extends beyond social media. He recognizes his mom, Heidi, as a singer-pop star, thanks to her 2010 single “I’ll Do It.” Spencer added that Gunner appreciates respectful fan interactions. “He loves when people come up to us and ask for a photo and then leave,” Spencer shared. “He goes, ‘That was a nice fan, Dad.’ I’m like, ‘They were very nice. Supporter—we’ll call them supporters, son.'”
While Gunner’s YouTube channel is still in the planning stages, there’s no doubt that he has the basics down. With his parents’ experience and guidance, he is well on his way to achieving his social media dreams.
Heidi and Spencer have been balancing their own lives while supporting their children’s aspirations. Heidi mentioned that she has become more serious since becoming a parent, often taking on the role of the “captain of the ship.” She is constantly scheduling and ensuring that everyone is on time and prepared. “I’m trying really hard to find that balance of letting things go and keeping things in order and on time,” she said.
Spencer, on the other hand, is focusing on maintaining balance in his fitness and nutrition. Inspired by Heidi’s weight-loss journey, he aims to lead a healthy lifestyle. “Heidi still has a fun life,” Spencer said. “She has red wine sometimes and eats bread. But she works out so hard. If we’re at soccer practice with Gunner, she’s doing lunges or air squats.”
As Gunner prepares to embark on his YouTube journey, his parents’ support and experience will undoubtedly play a crucial role. Whether he achieves social media stardom or simply enjoys the process, Gunner is already making waves at a young age.
