Adele created a touching memory for a young fan during her Las Vegas residency this past weekend. The “Someone Like You” singer met four-year-old Valentina, who had traveled all the way from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to see her perform on Sunday.
Valentina was dressed in a miniature version of one of Adele’s iconic gowns—a custom Schiaparelli black and white dress that the British superstar had worn to Anthony Davis and Marlen P’s wedding in 2021. The little girl looked absolutely adorable in her mini replica as the 36-year-old singer approached her to sing and take pictures.
In a video capturing the moment, Adele is seen performing “When We Were Young” while walking among the crowd. She spotted her ‘mini me’ and immediately smiled, walking over while still singing. She bent down to continue the lyrics with Valentina, then brightly said, “Hi! I love your dress! Turn around, let’s have a picture!”
Adele then put her arms around Valentina as they posed together amid the concert before walking off to continue singing the hit. The video has since gone viral on X and TikTok, with one fan echoing many sentiments online, writing, “It’s truly a moment to remember!!!”
This sweet moment comes as Adele has openly expressed her desire to have another baby. The British singer paused her Las Vegas residency show in October after spotting the doctor who delivered her son, Angelo, 11, in the crowd at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. The superstar welcomed her first child in 2012, whom she shares with her ex-husband Simon Konecki.
During the show, Adele was midway through a song when she noticed the medic and rushed to give him a hug. She was left in tears in the viral moment and was heard telling the audience, “Oh my god, Colin! Oh my god! This is my doctor that gave birth to my baby!”
Later on, she added, “I took a double look and he’s here. I’m desperate for another baby, Colin, bloody hell, so I might give you a call. My son turned 11 a couple of weeks ago and he’s not a baby anymore, it’s crazy.” Before joking, “I don’t want everyone to know who has seen inside my insides!”
The exchange came weeks after the star, who has been dating Rich Paul since 2021, declared that she’s “ready to be a mum again soon.”
During her Weekends with Adele residency in Las Vegas, the 16-time Grammy winner was serenading the audience with her 2016 song “When We Were Young” when she came across Valentina, who happened to be wearing a mini version of one of Adele’s past looks.
“Adele stopped to meet ‘mini Adele.’ Needless to say, Valentina and I had our dream come true! Unforgettable night with my little love,” Valentina’s mother, Alexandra Arguello, captioned the video on Instagram.
In the clip, Adele smiles as she spots the child and then pauses her walk to stoop down to Valentina’s height. While singing to her, the entertainer is conscious of the mom’s camera and makes sure to help the mother-daughter duo get the perfect video.
“Hi! I love your dress,” Adele tells Valentina before instructing her to “turn around” so that the two of them can pose for a picture together. Valentina was wearing her own version of Adele’s black and white custom Schiaparelli haute couture gown designed by Daniel Roseberry. Adele previously wore the design in September 2021 while attending the wedding of NBA star Anthony Davis.
During her May 17 residency show, the “Easy on Me” singer told her audience that she one day hopes to have a little girl of her own with Paul. Shortly after using the stage to help a couple with their gender reveal, Adele revealed that she was also “desperate for a girl” of her own the “next time” she has a child, according to a fan-recorded video from the concert.
She and ex Simon Konecki share an 11-year-old son named Angelo. “Once I’m done with all of my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby. And I want to have a girl because I’ve already got a boy,” she said, per the footage.
“I feel like she might be the person I love the most in the world and I’ll probably hate the most in the world as well… She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”
Adele then made sure to note who the proud parents would be. “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, my daughter’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”
