According to a criminal complaint obtained by NBC News, he was pulled over for running a stop sign and failing to stay in his lane. Officers noted that Timberlake’s eyes were “bloodshot and glassy,” and there was a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. He also exhibited “slowed speech” and had difficulty dividing his attention during the encounter.
The pop star reportedly performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests and refused multiple requests to take a chemical test for impairment.
