Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian have found themselves in a heated argument on the latest episode of “The Kardashians.” The two sisters, who have shared a close bond in recent years, clashed after Kim aired her grievances against Khloé, the founder of Good American. Throughout season 5, Kim has been vocal about Khloé’s reluctance to leave her home in Hidden Hills, California. However, this week’s episode saw Kim taking her criticism to a new level.
“You have the world at your fingertips, but you won’t go out there to see the world,” Kim told Khloé. “It’s like The Whale. The guy won’t leave his house because he’s… you know.” Kim was referring to the 2022 film “The Whale,” which earned Brendan Fraser an Oscar for his portrayal of Charlie, a morbidly obese man who refuses to leave his home.
A bewildered Khloé responded, “I’m Brendan Fraser?” Kim, grinning slightly, replied, “I’m just saying, I don’t know why that came to mind.” Khloé, still taken aback, said, “I thought you were going to say I look like a whale, and I’m like, what?”
Kim continued to criticize Khloé, pointing out that her two children, True Thompson, 6, and Tatum Thompson, 1, whom she shares with her ex, Tristan Thompson, “rule your life.” Kim, who is a mother of four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Kanye West—seemed to be frustrated with Khloé’s lifestyle choices.
The SKIMS founder didn’t hold back, laughing at Khloé and declaring, “I feel bad for you. Live your f**king life. Get out!” Kim also brought up a recent dinner they attended at the home of one of her lifelong friends. She accused Khloé of FaceTiming True from the venue and complaining about being on a “schedule” and needing to get home.
The argument escalated during the family’s kid-free trip to Aspen, Colorado, where Kim and Khloé clashed in front of their mother, Kris Jenner, sister Kendall Jenner, and Kris’ longtime boyfriend, Corey Gamble. In an aside interview, Khloé expressed her confusion, saying, “I am highly confused on what I’m being punished for here. Loving my kids too much? Saying goodnight to my kids? Them being on a schedule?” She added, “Kim’s just trying to be a b**ch right now and that’s something Kim is so good at. If she wants to hurt you, she will go for the jugular.”
The tension between the sisters appears to be ongoing, as the preview for next week’s episode shows Khloé FaceTiming True while her family urges her to get off the call. New episodes of “The Kardashians” stream Thursdays on Hulu.
This isn’t the first time the Kardashian sisters have had a public spat. In a previous episode, Kim accused Khloé of mom-shaming her after Khloé called to ask if she could redo Kim’s daughter Chicago’s hair before school. Kim saw the call as a criticism of her parenting, leading to a heated confrontation. “You were calling to not really ask if you could do her hair, but to let me know that her hair wasn’t washed and it was gross,” Kim said. Khloé refuted the allegations, explaining that she had simply reached out because Kim is “very particular” about her kids’ hair.
The argument took a personal turn when Kim accused Khloé of becoming a shut-in, spending all her time with her kids and showing a lack of interest in dating after her breakup with Tristan Thompson. Kim bluntly told her sister that she “just needs to get f**ked.” She added, “You need to live your life. You have the world at your fingertips but you won’t go see the world. You won’t let yourself go out there to find someone.”
Kim even compared Khloé to Brendan Fraser’s character in “The Whale,” a recluse who prefers to be isolated from others due to his morbid obesity. Khloé, taken aback, responded, “I’m Brendan Fraser?” After Kim explained that she was referring only to the character’s solitary lifestyle, Khloé said, “Oh, I thought you were gonna say I looked like a whale!”
Despite the harsh words, Khloé remained defiant, telling Kim, “Think whatever you want about me, I don’t give a shit,” as she pushed her aside and left the room. “Honestly,” she added, “you’re such a b***h these days to me.”
The ongoing drama between Kim and Khloé is just one of the many storylines that keep viewers hooked on “The Kardashians.” As the sisters navigate their personal and professional lives, their candid and often explosive interactions continue to captivate audiences.
