Kylie Kelce is still buzzing with excitement after attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in London. The mom of three had the chance to see the pop superstar perform not once, but twice at Wembley Stadium, and she’s been reliving those magical nights ever since.
On her Instagram Story, Kylie shared a recap of her experience, highlighting one of the most thrilling parts of the weekend: meeting sports commentators Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews in the VIP section. “Pardon the delay because we were very busy last week. But I have to circle back to meeting the absolute queens @CharissaJThompson and @ErinAndrews. I had to fangirl over them both for not only being badass women in sports but also having meaningful and empowering conversations on @CalmDownPodcast,” she posted.
Kylie also shared a photo of herself with Thompson, Andrews, and her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, who is also Taylor Swift’s boyfriend. The Kelces attended their first Eras Tour show on June 21, making their way into the VIP section at Wembley Stadium in matching black shirts. Fans captured videos of Jason Kelce signing an Eagles jersey and exchanging friendship bracelets, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The following day, Kylie and Jason returned for another night of Swift’s performance. The London shows marked a public reunion for Swift, Jason, and Kylie, who were last seen together in February at the Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. They were photographed hanging out with Swift’s friends Blake Lively and Ice Spice.
Travis Kelce has previously credited Andrews and Thompson for helping him connect with Swift. The duo publicly suggested on their podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa, that Swift should date their “friend Travis.” Travis responded to a clip of that moment on Instagram, writing, “😂😂 You two are something else!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I owe you big time!!”
Swift is set to return to Wembley Stadium on August 15 for five additional shows, with industry experts estimating that she will have 700,000 fans in attendance across all eight London shows. During her concert, Swift shared with fans how her album Folklore transformed her songwriting. She explained that Folklore is an album she’s particularly proud of because it allowed her to experiment with new storytelling techniques and create fictional characters.
Swift also revealed that writing Folklore helped her cope during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I think for me one thing that is very important about this album is that I started writing it two days into the pandemic and I think we were all looking for escapes during lockdown,” she said. “One of the things I did to escape was to write Folklore, and this wasn’t just an album where I wrote songs. I had a whole aesthetic image of what the album was.”
During her set, Swift performed several tracks from Folklore, including “Betty,” “Cardigan,” “August,” “Illicit Affairs,” and “My Tears Ricochet.” She also played songs from her follow-up album Evermore, such as “Champagne Problems,” “Marjorie,” and “Willow.” The 90,000-plus crowd at Wembley Stadium included famous faces like Travis Kelce, Cara Delevingne, Nicola Coughlan, Prince William, and his three children, as well as Zara and Mike Tindall.
Swift’s revamped Eras Tour in the UK features changes to her setlist, support acts, and costumes. She has introduced new songs from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, and has restructured the concert to include a section she calls Female Rage: The Musical. Swift has also started repeating songs in the “surprise song” portion of her acoustic set and introducing mash-ups.
The tour will continue with performances in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, and Dublin, with US pop-punk band Paramore supporting Swift across all the UK dates. The support acts have changed since Swift began touring in March 2023, with stars like Beabadoobee and Sabrina Carpenter having performed earlier in the tour.
UK fans will also see several new costumes from Swift, including a red sparkling bodysuit and a cream ball gown for the Tortured Poets Department portion of the show. The tour is themed around the different “eras” Swift has created during her career, with dedicated sets for each of her 11 studio albums.
Kylie Kelce’s experience at the Eras Tour was undoubtedly a highlight, filled with memorable moments and exciting encounters. As she continues to relive those nights, it’s clear that the magic of Taylor Swift’s performances has left a lasting impression.
