Jana Duggar’s Sparkly Accessory Sparks Speculation About Her Relationship Status
Sure, nameplate jewelry usually suggests the wearer is sporting his or her own name, but it turns out there is a trend among some of our favorite stylish stars toward wearing designs with a less obvious message. Lana Bramlette, the founder of Lana Jewelry, has been making nameplate necklaces for stars like Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Gigi Hadid, and more for years, and she’s telling Us the hidden meaning behind some of her most famous designs.
“Wearing a nameplate necklace is the ultimate power statement for the modern woman. I think it’s the most personal accessory you can own,” Bramlette tells Us. “I’m seeing this fun, non-traditional trend in nameplates where my clients ask for unconventional phrases.”
Bramlette has created custom pieces with pet names, lucky numbers, and Instagram handles to name a few, and she recently started designing Arabic letter nameplates after a request came in from a celebrity stylist.
When it comes to her A-list fan base, J.Lo recently showed off a few of her favorite Lana Jewelry finds while filming World of Dance. The “Jenny From the Block” singer piled on an array of gold chains — including her “Jennifer” and “13” Lana nameplates. Bramlette tells Us the diamond-encrusted “13” is in honor of Lopez’s boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, who wore the number during his pro baseball career.
And there’s more sweet significance where that came from! Over the summer, Hadid confirmed her on-again, off-again relationship with Zayn Malik was indeed back “on” when she stepped out in a sparkly Lana Jewelry necklace bearing his name.
Bride-to-be Priyanka Chopra recently commissioned a nameplate that reads “Diana” in honor of her precious pup, and perhaps the most sentimental example of Bramlette’s untraditional designs is the “Mambo” piece Madonna is regularly spotted wearing. The brand says the word is a nickname given to Madge by her children.
While the idea of a nameplate may call to mind bubbly cursive writing a la Carrie Bradshaw’s beloved gold design in Sex and the City, the Chicago-based jeweler has differentiated herself with a more graphic style that incorporates block letters. She found the traditional script fonts to be “too dainty and sweet” for her taste. Oh, and the block lettering leaves “more room for diamonds.”
Lana Jewelry’s diamond-encrusted nameplates start at $520 for a single letter and can accommodate up to eight characters. They are available in white, yellow, and rose gold and have small, medium, and large sizing options to allow for a truly custom piece.
Ultimately, Bramlette loves the idea of layering multiple necklaces with multiple meanings (think: J.Lo’s World of Dance bling) for a personalized look. “‘More is more’ it’s basically Lana-layering law 101. My chains are super lightweight but maximized in glossy shine, so they just look better and better stacked together,” she says. “Start with a choker like the Nude Chain Choker, add in a classic lariat like the Blake Necklace, finish it off with a long layered chain like the Kite Chain. And, of course, throw on your Lana nameplate to seal the deal.”
Kylie Kelce is a happily taken woman. While gushing about Christmas 2023 with husband Jason Kelce and his brother, Travis Kelce, on the Friday, December 29, episode of the siblings’ “New Heights” podcast, Kylie, 31, praised the gift Jason, 36, got her and also raved about his “silver fox” looks.
“Christmas was great,” Kylie told Travis, 34, when he asked about the holiday. “[Jason got me] more than one [gift],” Kylie continued, which seemed to shock Travis, who said, “What!”
Kylie then revealed that she was wearing one of her presents, a necklace from her “favorite jewelry store.” The accessory featured a gold chain and a sparkly pendant.
Impressed by the gesture, Travis said, “Not only is [Jason] sexy Batman, he is sexy Santa,” to which Kylie agreed. “He is. He is,” she said sweetly.
In addition to the necklace, Jason bought Kylie a Transformers action figure — Optimus Prime, to be exact. While Kylie was thrilled over the surprise, she revealed that her kids are terrified of the toy.
“There was just absolute screams of terror,” Kylie said of her daughters’ reaction, adding that she’s kept the figurine in its box. Kylie and Jason — who wed in April 2018 — share daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 10 months.
In addition to thanking Jason for a good Christmas, Kylie expressed her adoration of his good looks. Elsewhere during the episode, Jason read questions from fans, one of which inquired about Kylie’s reaction to Jason being one of People magazine’s 2023 Sexiest Men Alive.
“I mean, I married him, guys,” Kylie said, implying that she’s always been aware of her husband’s appeal. “All the women that passed up on this … mine. I knew this. This [accolade] is a no-brainer to me. He’s still mine.”
When Travis asked whether the nod has made Jason “sexier than he’s ever been,” Kylie admitted he’s “aging like fine wine.”
“He’s going, like, silver fox. When we first started dating, he would have a random gray in his beard and he’d let me pull it,” she recalled. “As I was pulling it, he would tell me how excited he was to get gray and to go white. I was like, ‘Eh, gray hair? That’s weird.’ Now, I’m like, ‘You son of a bitch.’ He’s salt and peppered on the sides. I mean, come on.”
She’s always been a “blast in a glass.” Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese became a certified member of the fist-pumping reality TV family after meeting the cast through Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and she’s undergone quite a transformation since.
Deena made her debut in season 3 and brought the party with her, which came as no surprise, because Snooki let fans know they were going to be living it up to the fullest the moment they arrived at Seaside together.
“Deena is one of my best friends. She’s going to be my partner in crime,” the reality star dished in a confessional.
After meeting her new costars, Snooki confirmed the fun was about to commence as she and Deena were going to be in “juicehead and guido heaven.” Although Deena’s first night at the shore house didn’t come without drama, it didn’t take long for the squad to welcome her with open arms and see her as one of them.
“I get along with everybody in the cast. I went in there with an open mind and it was good,” Deena later told People about her first experience filming the series.
Deena appeared on Jersey Shore from 2010 to 2012 and returned for the reboot Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, having now been featured in all four seasons.
During her time on the show, Deena also found love. The TV personality met her now-husband, Christopher Buckner, between seasons at a local bar in 2011. After catching each other’s eyes from across the room, the couple added each other on Facebook and a romance blossomed between them. Sparks kept flying and the duo got engaged during a weekend getaway in Mexico in 2016.
“I always knew I would spend the rest of my life with Christopher … But last night while we were walking on the Beach in Mexico he made it official!! We’re engaged!!!!!” she announced on Instagram while showing off her sparkling ring.
The lovebirds wed at the Laurita Winery in New Egypt, New Jersey, in October 2017 and they welcomed their first child, Christopher John (a.k.a. CJ), in January 2019. Before ringing in the new year, Deena and Chris surprised fans by announcing they are expecting baby No. 2. The pair shared the exciting news in October 2020 and revealed their son is expected to arrive in May 2021.
