King Felipe VI will hold an audience with the authorities of the Balearic Islands on Wednesday, July 24, at the Palacio de la Almudaina in Palma. His first meeting will be with Marga Prohens, the President of the Balearic Government, scheduled for 10:00 AM.
At 10:45 AM, Gabriel Le Senne, the President of the Parliament, will meet with the King. This will be followed by a meeting with Jaime MartÃnez, the Mayor of Palma, at 11:30 AM. Llorenç Galmés, the President of the Mallorca Council, will conclude the series of meetings with the King at 12:15 PM.
It’s important to note that this year, the royal family’s time in Mallorca will be split due to the opening gala of the 2024 Olympic Games. Felipe VI and Queen Letizia will be in Paris on July 25 and 26 before returning to Mallorca.
The King is also expected to sail aboard the yacht “Aifos” in the Bay of Palma on July 28 and 29, coinciding with the celebration of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE.
Moreover, Queen Letizia is confirmed to attend the closing gala of the 14th edition of the Atlà ntida Mallorca Film Fest, which will take place on July 28 at the Centro Cultural La Misericordia. The following day, on July 29, the royal couple will host their traditional reception for representatives of Balearic society at the Palacio de Marivent at 9:00 PM.
