Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing a new lawsuit from former actress Adria English, who has made serious allegations against him regarding underage recruitment and sex trafficking. The 54-year-old founder of Bad Boy Records is already dealing with numerous sexual assault cases, but this new complaint adds to the list.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Adria claims she met the rapper in 2004 when her boyfriend auditioned for modeling work with Sean John. Adria alleges that during the audition, her boyfriend and another model were asked to engage in sexual acts with Combs to secure the job.
Adria, who states her adult entertainment name was Omunique, claims that her boyfriend declined this proposition, but he eventually received a second chance when one of Combs’ associates offered him a job. The catch was that Adria needed to convince him to work as a “go-go dancer” at one of Combs’ parties in the Hamptons.
The couple agreed, and Adria worked at the party during the Labor Day weekend in 2004. After that, she accepted more gigs at Combs’ events, where she allegedly had to consume alcohol mixed with drugs, including ecstasy, while being encouraged to flirt with guests.
Furthermore, Adria revealed that Combs “prepared” her for sex trafficking and insisted she engage in sexual acts with renowned jewelry designer Jacob Arabov, known as “Jacob the Jeweler.”
The lawsuit, filed by attorneys Ariel Mitchell-Kidd and Steven Metcalf, claims that Adria was also “passed around” to other partygoers at Combs’ events, who allegedly subjected her to sexual assault. Alongside Combs and Jacob, Adria has also named a woman named Tamiko Thomas in her lawsuit, accusing her of facilitating Combs’ supposed sex trafficking operation.
Adria reports that she finally escaped from Combs and returned to California in 2009. However, she believes that Combs retaliated by ostracizing her and her boyfriend from the entertainment industry.
She now claims to have suffered emotional trauma, including intimacy issues and painful memories, as a result of the alleged sex trafficking. Adria is seeking unspecified damages in her lawsuit.
