More than 40 days after the disappearance of Loan Danilo Peña, search efforts continue in Santa Cruz based on information provided by a witness deemed “credible” by federal police officers.
According to reports from provincial media, an Army officer named Jesús Ferrreyra was waiting outside a supermarket in La Loma with his young son while his wife shopped. While waiting, the officer’s son began playing with another boy who bore a striking resemblance to the child reported missing. As they prepared to leave with an adult, the boy reportedly said, “I am Loan.”
