Clovis Nienow has announced that he will no longer participate in the theater production “La casa de Maripily: ¡Se vale tó!” taking place in Puerto Rico. This show also features other former contestants from “La Casa de los Famosos 4,” including Rodrigo Romeh and Alfredo Adame.
The model decided to step away from the project due to disrespectful comments made by the winner of the Telemundo reality show about his girlfriend, Aleska Génesis, who was also part of the competition. During an Instagram live session, Clovis stated, “No, I’m not going to be in the upcoming plays,” expressing his disappointment over crossing boundaries of respect. He emphasized that if things had been different, he would have liked to continue with the production. However, the disrespect shown toward Aleska, and particularly toward himself, saddened him deeply.
Clovis shared that he felt “super sad” after witnessing the disrespect directed at Aleska during a performance. He noted, “In front of many people, they disrespected Aleska and, above all, disrespected me. I’ve never done that to them, which is what upset me the most.”
Aleska also spoke up, confirming that Clovis was unaware of what his co-stars intended to say during the performance. “He showed up not knowing what they were going to say, and they went off script,” she explained. Clovis added that many things were not in the script; he had discussed the issues with the director. “When Aleska was there, the disrespect was so overwhelming that I blanked out on stage—I don’t even know how I continued,” he admitted.
He expressed feelings of sadness and disappointment, indicating that he felt uncomfortable enough to want to leave after every performance. Aleska supported him by stating, “He doesn’t need to be around such people to shine because he has a lot of talent. It’s time to demand respect.”
Maripily, who leads the show, reacted angrily to Aleska’s presence in the performance. After attending the show, Aleska and Clovis claimed to have had a good time, but Maripily later stated on social media that she didn’t appreciate having Aleska there. She clarified that when Aleska entered the theater, the audience was actually cheering for her friend Félix, not Aleska, adding that it’s disappointing when people undermine others’ success.
In response to Maripily’s comments, Aleska firmly denied any intention to overshadow her former reality show co-star. “I didn’t come here to steal anyone’s spotlight; quite the opposite,” she said in an interview with Telemundo.
Aleska pointed out that Maripily had invited her to the event and mentioned a plan for them to reconcile after their previous conflicts in “La Casa de los Famosos 4.” She was puzzled by Maripily’s negative reaction and emphasized that she attended the performance to support Clovis and the other cast members.
