FC Barcelona and Girona FC have recently reached an agreement to keep player Pau Víctor linked to the Catalan club until June 30, 2029, as announced on Barcelona’s official website and social media.
Pau Víctor began his football journey at the young age of six with Junior FC. He later joined Sabadell during his cadet years and spent three years there, two in the cadet team and one with the first-year youth team. Eventually, he signed with Girona, where he played for two more years at the youth level and two additional seasons with the reserve team.
His impressive development caught the attention of Girona’s first team. He participated in training sessions and played eight matches in the Second Division during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons, which marked his last stint with the Girona team.
In the 2022/23 season, Pau Víctor returned to CE Sabadell on loan, featuring in 36 matches, scoring seven goals, and providing six assists. His attacking versatility and goal-scoring ability shone through during the 2023/24 season with FC Barcelona Atlètic, where he was also on loan from Girona. Pau Víctor was instrumental for the Barça reserve team, earning the title of top scorer in the Primera RFEF with 20 goals. His contributions played a significant role in the team’s strong season, which saw them reach the final for promotion, largely thanks to his crucial goals.
In addition to his scoring prowess, Pau Víctor’s versatility allowed him to make an impact in various positions. Under the guidance of coach Rafa Márquez, he primarily played as a center forward but also took on the role of winger in different matches, showcasing his adaptability on the field.
