After twenty years of marriage, Inés Ballester and journalist Juan Luis Ruiz have ended their relationship. Despite this separation, they maintain a positive rapport, a fact Inés recently discussed during an interview.
Inés humorously compared her situation to that of an American actress, saying, “I’ve been divorced twice.” She downplayed the drama surrounding her divorces, expressing a sense of peace regarding her past relationships. “I don’t know; it’s not that I’m proud, but it’s the reality, and many of my friends share similar experiences,” she explained.
Rather than focusing on the challenges that can come with divorce, Inés emphasized that life continues. “Everything is quite normal; life goes on, hopes remain, and love persists. Well, let’s hope all continues to go well,” she shared.
Inés also touched on her professional experiences, revealing that she once crossed paths with Queen Letizia at TVE, although they did not develop a relationship. She described the first time she truly met the royals as being on a plane, where they spoke briefly for about two minutes, noting that they have mutual friends.
Reflecting on her career, Inés remarked, “I don’t know when I will retire, as all my projects are new.” She expressed gratitude for being asked to participate in various endeavors and shared her happiness about it. Looking back at her younger days, she recalled thinking that her career as a presenter would be short-lived, and she would eventually return to a newsroom. However, over time, she has realized that her role as a presenter is more enduring than she initially expected.
