Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) is set to host a virtual information session for its graduate programs on Tuesday, June 15, at 4 p.m. This session will provide comprehensive details about the various advanced educational opportunities available at MCLA, including the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Education (MEd), Principles of Accounting certificate, Network Security certificate, Teacher Licensure, Leadership Academy, and bachelor’s degree completion programs.

The MBA program at MCLA is a 45-credit course that offers a broad-based, multidisciplinary education. It combines the expertise of business faculty at the doctoral and master’s levels with the practical experience of managers actively involved in day-to-day decision-making. The program includes a blend of classroom experience and hands-on fieldwork, ensuring that students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
For those who have a bachelor’s degree but did not major in business administration, MCLA offers a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. This five-course certificate provides standalone advanced certification in business administration or can fulfill the first 15 credits toward an MBA at MCLA. MCLA also offers a Degree Completion Program designed for adult learners seeking an accelerated, non-traditional pathway to completing their bachelor’s degree. The program is conducted in a cohort-style learning format, where students begin their course of study with a group of peers and proceed through the program together. Classes are offered in the evening and online, allowing students to balance work, family commitments, and their academic journey. Classes are held one night a week at MCLA-Pittsfield, 66 Allen Street.
Students in the Degree Completion Program can earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. The interdisciplinary program allows students to focus on areas such as children, families, and society; leadership and business; health and human services; or create an individualized plan of study with an advisor.
MCLA’s commitment to providing flexible and accessible education is evident in its diverse set of programs serving the Berkshires and beyond. Courses include topics such as creating a successful business plan, medical terminology, A-Z grant writing, accounting fundamentals, and computer skills for the workplace.
High school students in Berkshire County can also benefit from MCLA’s Dual Enrollment and Early College programs. These programs allow students to earn free MCLA credit while still in high school, providing an excellent opportunity for those seeking further academic challenges.
