BTS member Jin has been chosen as the top candidate for Korea’s tourism ambassador, according to a recent survey. The poll, conducted by Idol Chart from the 3rd to the 9th, asked participants to vote for the star they believe is most suitable for promoting Korea. Jin received 42,533 votes out of a total of 86,175, securing nearly 49% of the total votes.
Song Ga-in came in second place with 35,287 votes, which is about 41% of the total. Other notable mentions in the poll included My Jin with 1,794 votes, BTS RM with 1,302 votes, and Hongja with 785 votes. G-Dragon, Jang Min-ho, 2PM Jun-ho, Fromis 9, Kang Daniel, Son Tae-jin, IU, Park Seo-jin, Kim Yo-han, Lee Moo-jin, Psy, Stray Kids, Le Sserafim, Cravity, and Rowoon also received votes, though in smaller numbers.
The complete results of the survey are available in the ‘POLL’ section on the Idol Chart website. Currently, another survey is being conducted, asking fans which star they would like to see on the Water Bomb stage this summer.
Meanwhile, all BTS members, including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service. Jin, the first member of BTS to enlist, is serving as an army trainer and is expected to be discharged on December 12th. The group plans to resume full activities in 2025 once all members have completed their service.
