Adding to the excitement, veteran actress Poonam Dhillon has extended her heartfelt wishes to the soon-to-be-married couple.
Poonam Dhillon, who has known Sonakshi since she was a little girl, expressed her joy and blessings for the couple. “I wish Sonakshi all the very best. She has sent a very lovely invite. I’ve known her since she was a little girl and watched her entire journey. May God bless her with happiness. She is a warm, loving girl. I wish her all the joy and happiness. Zaheer, please keep her happy. She is very precious to all of us,” Poonam shared with Instant Bollywood.
The message on the invite begins with Sonakshi greeting the guests, saying, “To all our hip, tech-savvy, and curious friends and family who have managed to land on this page, hi.” Zaheer then adds, “For the last seven years that we have been together, all the joy, love, laughter, and many adventures have led us to this moment.”

Hours after Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding invite was leaked online, Shatrughan Sinha addressed the news about his daughter’s wedding. The actor-politician stated that he was neither confirming nor denying the marriage reports. However, he assured when it happens, he will be a happy father. He also emphasized that the family would support her decision regardless of whom she chooses to marry.
‘I am neither confirming nor denying her wedding news. Time will tell. She will always have my blessings,’ Shatrughan told The Times of India.
‘Sonakshi is the apple of my eye. She is my only daughter and very close to me. I am a proud father because, over the years, she has also grown as an actor. From Lootere to Dahaad to now Heeramandi, she has proved to be a fantastic actor,’ he added.
‘If my daughter is getting married, I will give her my blessings and support her decision and choice. Sonakshi has the right to choose her companion, and I will be the happiest father on her wedding day. I will always wish her the best… ek hi toh beti hai meri,’ Shatrughan said.
