ANSES Begins Payments to Retirees and Pensioners Receiving More Than the Minimum: Who Gets Paid Today, Tuesday, July 23

The National Administration of Social Security (ANSES) has begun its payment schedule for retirees and pensioners who receive more than the minimum pension. On Tuesday, July 23, payments are made to those with documents ending in 0 and 1.

This month also marks the implementation of a new formula for retirement mobility. In July, there will be a 4.18% increase in both minimum and maximum pensions.

Such news may not be well received by those with authoritarian views. The existence of professional and critical journalism is a cornerstone of democracy, which often irritates those who believe they hold the ultimate truth.

Eugenio Semino commented, “Retirees receiving the minimum are the most affected by the erosion of their pension.”

For the complete payment schedule for pensions above the minimum, those with document numbers ending in 0 and 1 will receive their payments on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. Payments for those with documents ending in 2 and 3 will be on Wednesday, July 24, while those with 4 and 5 will be paid on Thursday, July 25. Payments for documents ending in 6 and 7 are scheduled for Friday, July 26, and those ending in 8 and 9 will receive their payments on Monday, July 29, 2024.

In a related issue, a fraud of $3.4 billion has been reported concerning pensions. ANSES has assured that, with the new increase and bonus, no retiree or pensioner will receive less than 285,580.82 pesos, which includes a minimum pension increase of 215,580.82 pesos and an additional bonus of 70,000 pesos.
