Kim Taehyung, known as V from BTS, has been seen fulfilling his military duties recently.
On June 9, Taehyung was spotted politely greeting Lee Ji Young from the veteran group Big Mama during a patrol. She had just performed in Chuncheon for the 2024 Veterans Culture Festival.
Taehyung was dressed in his all-black uniform, which is reserved for elite soldiers in the anti-terrorism unit “Special Duty Team.”
Lee Ji Young shared a video on her Instagram, recounting their interaction and expressing her pleasant surprise at Taehyung’s gentlemanly behavior in person.
Lee Ji Young wrote: “Today, after finishing my performance at the Chuncheon Veteran Culture Festival, a handsome soldier greeted me as I descended the stage. I realized he was BTS’s V, my junior.
His stage presence always impresses me, but seeing his gentleness off-stage was unexpected. Wearing his uniform, he looked even more magnificent. Though we didn’t manage to take a photo due to the rush, thanks to Kuang for the video.
I hope you complete your military service healthily and I look forward to seeing your wonderful self again.”
