Even Bill Belichick is a Swiftie.
The former NFL coach attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Amsterdam alongside the singer’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and Patrick Mahomes. On a recent episode of the “Fore Play Podcast,” Barstool Sports host Sam Riggs Bozoian shared details about the trio’s trip to see Swift in the Netherlands last week.
“Coach Belichick had hit up Travis Kelce, he was over there,” Bozoian said. “So at one point, we’re just in this box at the Taylor Swift show and we’ve got myself … we had Bill Belichick, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are just in this box at this Taylor Swift show in Amsterdam.”
Bozoian said the Kansas City Chiefs stars had a “great interaction” with the former Patriots coach. “They had a great interaction with Belichick,” he said. “It was right when they walked in they were like, ‘Hey coach!’ and they were like, dapping up. Just a bunch of football guys shooting the s–t.”
The blogger said the whole experience was “f–king chaos” and “was really cool.” He also shared a picture of himself with pals and Kelce, 34, while at the Eras Tour on X. While Belichick, who is now dating 23-year-old Jordon Hudson, seemingly kept a low profile at the July 5 show, where the tight end and the billionaire pop star packed on the PDA following her performance at Johan Cruijff Arena.
The blogger also shared a picture of himself with pals and Kelce while at the Eras Tour. The tight end attended the July 5 and July 6 Eras Tours in the Netherlands. Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, attended the July 6 show.
The couple — who went public last September — came out from behind the stage holding hands. Kelce then gave Swift, also 34, a sweet kiss on the head. The following night, Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, both 28, were seen swaying and embracing in the audience as Swift performed her hit “Lover.”
The mom of two sparkled in a glittering pajama set from Prada as she also spent time with her friend Miranda Hogue. At one point in the night, Brittany was seen checking on an emotional Kelce, who seemingly wiped away tears as Swift sang a special mashup of songs that were dedicated to him.
During one of her Netherlands shows, Swift sang “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)” from her 2006 self-titled debut album for the first time in nearly 16 years. In the song she sang, “I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89,” which has taken on a new meaning since she started dating the athlete. (His jersey number is 87 and Swift was born in 1989.)
After the “Cruel Summer” songstress wrapped her third and final show in the Netherlands, Kelce encouraged the Swifties to get riled up as they exited the stage together.
Bill Belichick is a Swiftie. The 72-year-old free agent NFL coach — who made headlines last month after going public with his 23-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson — was in Travis Kelce’s private box at one of Taylor Swift’s concerts in Amsterdam over the Fourth of July weekend, according to Barstool Sports host Sam Riggs Bozoian.
During a recent installment of the “Fore Play Podcast,” Riggs explained that he and his friends were at one of Swift’s shows at Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam (she played in the Netherlands on July 4, 5 and 6), where they were in the same suite as Belichick, Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.
“Coach Belichick had hit up Travis Kelce, he was over there,” Riggs said. “So at one point we’re just in this box at the Taylor Swift show and we’ve got myself… we had Bill Belichick, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are just in this box at this Taylor Swift show in Amsterdam.”
Riggs went on to explain the interaction Kelce and Mahomes had with Belichick. “They had a great interaction with Belichick,” Riggs said. “It was right when they walked in they were like ‘Hey coach!’ and they were like dapping up. Just a bunch of football guys shooting the s–t.”
Taking to X on Saturday, Riggs also posted a photo with his friends and Kelce while at Swift’s Eras Tour. The Chiefs quarterback and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, attended Swift’s concert in Amsterdam on July 6. The couple was seen sharing a sweet moment while dancing to Swift’s song “Lover,” as seen in a video on social media.
Meanwhile, Kelce was standing next to Mahomes while singing along passionately to his girlfriend’s hit song. Belichick has yet to emerge in photos from the concert. The former Patriots head coach took in Swift’s Eras Tour at Gillette Stadium last May and said he was blown away by Swift’s commitment to performing during a heavy rainstorm in Foxborough, Mass.
It’s unclear if the future Hall of Fame coach attended the show with Hudson, who is a former college cheerleader at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. The couple has been fairly private about their relationship after stepping out for the first time together in Nantucket last month.
The pair enjoyed a boat ride aboard Belichick’s $225,000 boat named VIII Rings. “I don’t know if he is looking to go back to coaching again, I may be wrong, but I think that he is realizing that there is more in life than just football,” a source told The Sun recently.
Taylor Swift will squeeze in a football game after her big night. The 12-time Grammy winner plans to attend Travis Kelce and the Chiefs’ “Thursday Night Football” game against the Broncos in Kansas City, TMZ reports. It will be the third time in four weeks Swift showed up for a Kelce game after passing on the Vikings matchup last week.
Swift’s apparent decision comes even as Kelce is officially questionable to play in the game after suffering an ankle injury in Minnesota. ESPN.com reported that Kelce was doing everything possible to get be ready for the AFC West matchup as “he hates missing games.”
Kelce did return to the Vikings game after suffering the injury and scored a touchdown in the 27-20 victory. “I’m just out here being old as f–k and just offing myself,” Kelce, who turned 34 last week, said on his “New Heights” podcast about how he suffered the injury. “Because I’m not getting tackled and getting injured. Nobody is doing this to me but me.”
This will be Swift’s second outing at a Chiefs home game, as her first Kelce-inspired appearance came in a 41-10 win over the Bears on Sept. 24. The rumored couple then spent the night out at a Kansas City restaurant with Kelce’s family, friends and teammates.
Swift then showed up to Kelce’s game against the Jets at MetLife Stadium with A-list pals, including Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Sophie Turner and Hugh Jackman. Swift attended the premiere of the “Eras Tour” movie in Los Angeles on Wednesday night and is expected to be at the New York premiere this weekend.
The game will be broadcast on Amazon Prime. “We’re preparing just like everybody else did,” Danielle Carney, the head of NFL ads at Amazon, told AdWeek of the Swift possibility.
“There’s a lot of conversation around it for sure. I am a Swiftie, and I’m an NFL fan, so for me it’s like the best of both worlds melding together.”
