Billie Eilish has reached a significant milestone in her career, becoming the third artist to surpass 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This achievement places her in the company of The Weeknd and Taylor Swift, who have 107 million and 102 million monthly listeners, respectively. Remarkably, Eilish has accomplished this feat with just 82 songs in her catalog, far fewer than her peers.

At just 22 years old, Eilish is the youngest artist to reach this milestone. Her journey with Spotify began with the release of “Ocean Eyes,” and since then, she has continuously expanded her fan base globally. Jeremy Erlich, Spotify’s global head of music, praised Eilish and her brother-collaborator Finneas for their remarkable achievements since 2016.

Eilish’s success on Spotify is further highlighted by her presence in the platform’s Billions Club. She has eight songs with over a billion streams, including “Lovely” with Khalid (2.8 billion), “Bad Guy” (2.5 billion), “When the Party’s Over” (1.8 billion), “Everything I Wanted” (1.6 billion), “Ocean Eyes” (1.4 billion), “Happier Than Ever” (1.3 billion), “Idontwannabeyouanymore” (1.09 billion), and “Bury a Friend” (1.01 billion).

Her debut single, “Ocean Eyes,” made its way onto the Billboard Hot 100 in 2018, peaking at No. 84 the following year. Since then, Eilish has had 42 more songs on the all-genre tally, with six of them reaching the top 10. Notably, “Bad Guy” topped the chart in August 2019.

Eilish’s third album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” released in April, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Her previous albums, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” and “Happier Than Ever,” both topped the chart for three weeks.

In addition to her musical achievements, Eilish has also made history by becoming the youngest two-time Oscar winner earlier this year. She won the best original song award for “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie movie.
