After starring together in the horror film “Blink Twice,” he suggested that collaborating on a challenging project is one of the best ways to validate feelings for someone.
In an interview with E! News, Channing shared, “Our relationship was born, in a way, within the creative process. It didn’t feel different. That’s what brought us together and made us feel deeply connected to what we love about life and just being alive. It was easy. Making movies is hard. One thing I’ll say is if you think you’re in love with someone and you’re wondering, ‘Do I want to stay with her forever, or have a child, or get married?’ then look for the hardest project you can physically find. Build a house, paint a room—do something!”
The star of “Fly Me to the Moon,” who shares an 11-year-old daughter named Everly with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan, recently explained that he and Zoë bonded while working on their new production.
He told Extra, “Working with your partner is really, you know. I know a lot of people are scared of it, but it’s what brought us together in a way. We started to grow as a couple just before we started filming. It just united us.”
