In a TikTok video, Charli explained her interpretation of the term "brat." She characterized it as describing a fun-loving girl who enjoys parties and may sometimes say silly things. “She is confident but can have a nervous breakdown,” Charli elaborated. “But she’s having a good time, very honest, very direct. A little volatile. Does silly things. But she’s a brat.”
Several of Kamala’s popular quotes and clips have been creatively edited to feature Charli’s music, often tinged with the lime green color that dominates the artwork for "Brat." One of the most frequently used clips includes Kamala celebrating Biden’s election in 2020, saying, “We did it.
