Chyno Miranda Requests Respect and Tolerance for His Health Progress

Chyno Miranda, the Venezuelan singer, has urged people to respect and tolerate his health recovery process. Some social media users have questioned his well-being due to his tendency to repeat certain words when he speaks.

In an Instagram update, Chyno shared that he is still recovering from peripheral neuropathy, a condition he developed in 2020 after contracting COVID-19 in March, at the pandemic’s outset.

“Hello everyone, how are you? I’m currently in the recovery process,” said the La Guaira native.

He also recalled his controversial stay at the Tía Panchita rehabilitation facility, where he was interned by his mother due to mental health and addiction issues. At the center, he experienced psychological and physical abuse, stating, “I was in a place that harmed me a lot. It was a very difficult time.”

Chyno concluded, “I ask for your understanding, respect, and tolerance if I repeat words sometimes. Blessings to all. I love you.”

What Happened to Chyno Miranda?

In December 2020, Chyno Miranda revealed in an interview with People en Español, alongside his then-wife Natasha Araos, that he suffered from peripheral neuropathy as a result of COVID-19. After recovering from typical symptoms of the virus, he began experiencing severe body pain and paralysis.

“I started feeling discomfort in my toes, then tingling and numbness, followed by severe pain in my legs,” he recalled.

The doctor diagnosed that COVID-19 had affected his nervous system, leading to peripheral neuropathy. “The doctor explained that the virus can compromise different systems and that this condition can happen to anyone. It’s not hereditary,” Natasha elaborated.

Since then, Chyno has shown progress in his recovery from the neurological damage caused by the neuropathy.

The Controversial Separation

On September 1, 2021, Chyno announced his separation from Natasha Araos and admitted to being unfaithful. “This part is emotional for me, but I need to confess. I disrespected her as a wife and our home. We haven’t been together as a couple for over a year,” he said in an Instagram video with Natasha by his side.

Despite Natasha’s claims of supporting him during his recovery, she faced heavy criticism on social media, with many blaming her for Chyno’s deteriorating health. These rumors intensified when Chyno was interned at Tía Panchita.

In December 2022, Chyno, whose real name is Jesús Alberto Miranda, gave an interview to influencer Irrael Gómez. He revealed that he was sedated at the rehabilitation center after attempting to escape three times. “I spent 11 months there, learning patience, self-discovery, and experiencing the highs and lows of life,” he shared.

After leaving Tía Panchita, Chyno was transferred to the private clinic El Cedral on November 2, 2022, by civil court order. In a video posted by Irrael Gómez, Chyno appeared with his then-girlfriend Astrid Cuevas, who he later married. They seem to be happily together now.
