Denver Broncos quarterback Zach Wilson is officially off the market! The 24-year-old athlete announced his engagement to girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno on Sunday, June 30. The couple shared the joyous news with a series of heartwarming photos from their romantic proposal on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
Wilson took to Instagram to share the special moment, posting a carousel of photos that captured the essence of their engagement. In one of the images, Wilson and Dellanno are seen smiling for a selfie, with Dellanno proudly displaying her stunning diamond engagement ring. The dress designer looked radiant, her face lit up with a huge smile, while Wilson stood proudly beside her.
Another photo showed Dellanno in a white satin dress with a cut-out middle, posing in front of the breathtaking cliffs and ocean. The couple has been dating since June 2022, making their first public appearance together at a New York Yankees game that month. While Wilson doesn’t frequently post on social media, Dellanno has been keeping fans updated on their dreamy vacation in Italy. Last week, she posted another set of images from their trip, including a shot of her posing in front of the Positano coastline in a cream bandeau bikini top and patterned bottoms. Other photos showed the couple enjoying a boat ride and posing in front of picturesque backgrounds.

The engagement comes at a significant time for Wilson, who recently wrapped up his first minicamp as a member of the Denver Broncos. The second overall pick by the New York Jets in 2021, Wilson was traded to Denver in April after three challenging seasons in New York. Despite the ups and downs, Wilson remains optimistic about his fresh start with the Broncos. “Obviously, there’s bittersweet moments in everything,” he said in May. “I was grateful for my experiences there and the guys. Although Wilson had a rocky showing at organized team activities (OTAs) in early June, reports suggest that he is “in the mix” to potentially become the Broncos’ starter. “They’re trying to regain [Wilson’s] confidence again,” ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said, according to Bleacher Report. “I’m told he’s in a positive state of mind.”
Through 34 games in his NFL career, Wilson has thrown for 6,293 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 25 interceptions. The Broncos are set to open the season at Seattle on September 8 and will travel to MetLife Stadium on September 29 for a clash against Wilson’s former Jets team.
