Dragon Pony enchants crowd with heartfelt busking debut at Mangwon Hangang Park
Dragon Pony made a memorable debut with their ‘Dragon Pony Debut Wish Busking pt.1’ event on the 9th at Mangwon Hangang Park’s Mangwon Green Road Plaza in Mapo-gu, Seoul. This busking event, part of their debut project, aimed to connect closely with the audience and showcase their musical talents and unique charms. Despite being a pre-debut event, the plaza was filled with eager spectators.
The band kicked off their performance with their self-composed song ‘Morse Code,’ which highlighted their refreshing band sound. They continued to captivate the audience with a series of high-quality original songs. ‘Traffic Jam’ built up the melody layer by layer with vocals and instruments, while ‘Earth Boy’ featured refreshing vocals over a rhythmic beat. The acoustic version of ‘Altruism’ enhanced the emotional atmosphere, and the audience responded enthusiastically to each performance.
Dragon Pony also took impromptu song requests from the audience and performed cover songs. The four members made eye contact with the fans who had come to the plaza and sang for them, creating a fantastic summer night experience.
Having successfully completed their first pre-debut busking, Dragon Pony is set to hold their solo concert ‘Dragon Pony Final Debut Mission: 500’ on the 29th at Musinsa Garage in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Tickets for this concert sold out within one minute of opening. Dragon Pony has achieved their debut mission goals of reaching 20,000 followers on their official SNS and gathering 500 attendees for their solo concert, confirming their debut this year.
Dragon Pony, a four-member boy band introduced by Antena, consists of vocalist An Taekyu, bassist Pyun Sunghyun, guitarist Kwon Sehyuk, and drummer Go Kanghun.
