Fardeen Khan recently opened up about his journey into the film industry, revealing that acting was not his initial career choice. The actor, who made his debut with the film “Prem Aggan,” admitted that he felt unprepared for the role when he first stepped in front of the camera.
Fardeen shared that his true interest lay in filmmaking rather than acting. He humorously reflected on his decision to become an actor, suggesting it might have been a mistake. Despite receiving several offers to launch his career, both he and his father, Feroz Khan, prioritized his education before diving into the film industry.
During his college years, Fardeen was uncertain about his career path. Acting was not on his radar at the time. However, after returning from the US, his father was in the process of putting together “Prem Aggan,” and Fardeen was cast as the lead. He confessed that he was not ready for the role and should have spent more time preparing.
Fardeen acknowledged his inexperience, noting that his language skills were not strong and he was quite raw in many aspects. He felt that he should have spent more time practicing and gaining acting experience before taking on such a significant role. Looking back, he wished he had been better prepared for his debut.
After his role in “Dulha Mil Gaya” in 2010, Fardeen took a break from the film industry. He has recently made a comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Heeramandi.” Reflecting on his return, Fardeen expressed gratitude for how things have turned out, despite the initial challenges he faced.
Fardeen’s candid admission sheds light on the pressures and expectations that come with being launched into the film industry, especially when one is not fully prepared. His journey highlights the importance of preparation and experience in the world of acting.
