Actor Gabriel Soto, despite stating he wouldn’t comment on his recent separation from Irina Baeva, shared two reflective messages on his Instagram stories that hint at his mindset post-breakup.
Soto posted a video featuring American author and pastor Joel Osteen discussing how to handle criticism and judgment from others.
“Life is too short to let your happiness depend on how someone else treats you. Don’t put your happiness in their hands. You can’t control what they do, but you can control what you do. Keep your walls up. You have a destiny to fulfill and a task to complete,” says Osteen in the video.
Soto did not disclose the reasons for his breakup with Baeva. He echoed Osteen’s advice to avoid being vengeful and instead be kind to those who try to hurt you.
“You can’t give your best if you’re upset, offended, or trying to get back at people. Let it go. God is your avenger. When you ignore negative comments and overlook insults, you’re passing the test. God will take care of those who oppose you. He may not prevent it, but He won’t let it stop you,” Osteen adds in the video.
In addition to Osteen’s video, Soto posted a message about love and acceptance.
“One day, I stopped worrying about the idea that love has to last a lifetime. I understood that love lasts as long as it’s meant to. Sometimes it leaves sooner than we wish, sometimes it’s like a shooting star, sometimes it takes a while to arrive, and sometimes it also takes a while to leave. I no longer worry about people failing me because I understood that it’s the universe’s way of removing what’s not meant for you,” the message reads.
Following the announcement of his separation, the news sparked significant discussion and rumors. Various entertainment figures shared their opinions, including Venezuelan actress Daniella Navarro.
The former participant of ‘La Casa de los Famosos 2’ criticized Soto, describing him as a man without values.
“Young women, remember this: any mistress who becomes the wife leaves the mistress spot vacant. Gabriel Soto is the karma for every woman who crosses his path because he hasn’t respected any of them,” said Navarro on Telemundo’s ‘La Mesa Caliente.’
Additionally, Lucho Borrego from Univision’s ‘Siéntese Quien Pueda’ claimed that Soto informed Baeva of their breakup via text message.
Despite the criticism, Gabriel Soto has not defended himself publicly, and Irina Baeva remains silent on the rumors and speculations surrounding their separation.
