(G)I-DLE has just unveiled the main poster for their eagerly awaited third world tour. On June 17th, Cube Entertainment, the group’s agency, shared the poster on (G)I-DLE’s official social media channels, igniting excitement among fans globally.

The eye-catching poster features the members of (G)I-DLE dressed in all-black outfits, radiating confidence and charisma. Their intense gazes and impeccable visuals are bound to captivate fans, heightening anticipation for the forthcoming tour.

The 2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] will commence in Seoul on August 3rd and 4th. Following the Seoul concerts, the tour will travel to 14 cities worldwide, including Hong Kong, Tokyo, Tacoma, Auckland, Anaheim, Houston, Rosemont, Belmont Park, Taipei, Bangkok, Macau, Melbourne, and Sydney.

(G)I-DLE, a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018, consists of members Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua. Initially a sextet, the group became a quintet after Soojin’s departure in August 2021. Known for their musical versatility and self-production skills, (G)I-DLE has established themselves as one of the leading South Korean girl groups outside the “big four” record labels.

With a bold and sensual style, (G)I-DLE’s music spans multiple genres, including moombahton and hip hop, often exploring themes of self-love, female empowerment, and self-acceptance. Critics have lauded their eclectic style, symbolic lyrics, and confident performances.

The group’s debut single, “Latata,” released on May 2, 2018, reached number 12 on the Circle Digital Chart. They achieved greater success with “Hwaa,” peaking at number five, followed by their first number-one hit, “Tomboy,” from their album I Never Die (2022). “Tomboy” topped the Circle album charts and was certified platinum by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA). Their subsequent single, “Nxde,” also topped the Circle Chart, making (G)I-DLE the only artist to achieve two perfect all-kills in 2022.

Their extended play, I Feel (2023), produced the hit single “Queencard,” which became their third number-one single in South Korea and their first record to sell over one million copies domestically. It also sold two million copies worldwide in 2023, according to the IFPI. They made history as the first act from an independent label to appear on the Mediabase Top 40 Radio airplay charts and the US Billboard Pop Airplay chart with a non-English song.

(G)I-DLE’s second studio album, 2 (2024), continued their commercial success, selling over one million copies in South Korea. The album featured the top-ten lead single “Super Lady” and the number-one hit “Fate,” which found success despite not being released as a single.

With their dynamic music and powerful performances, (G)I-DLE continues to break boundaries and captivate audiences worldwide. The upcoming world tour promises to be a spectacular showcase of their talent and artistry.
