Halloween Horror Nights Returns with Insidious House and More Theme Park News
The “Insidious” franchise is set to make a spine-chilling return to Universal Orlando Resort for Halloween Horror Nights. This year, “Insidious: The Further” will transport guests into the eerie realm of The Further, a dark dimension where demons and spirits lurk, waiting to invade human vessels. Visitors will enter through the iconic red door, embarking on an out-of-body experience reminiscent of the Lamberts’ journey. Expect to encounter the Red-Faced Demon, KeyFace, the Man Who Can’t Breathe, and the Bride in Black, all of whom have haunted audiences since the first “Insidious” film premiered in 2011.
“Insidious: The Further” will open on August 30, joining other IP-inspired haunted houses like “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” and “A Quiet Place” for Halloween Horror Nights 33. This marks the franchise’s second appearance at the event since 2015. For more details and ticket purchases, visit HalloweenHorrorNights.com.
In other theme park news, Universal Studios Orlando has introduced a quirky new treat in Dreamworks Land: the “Shrekzel.” This pretzel, shaped like Shrek’s face, comes with green ear slime cheese, adding a whimsical touch to the park’s food offerings. While the Shrekzel’s appearance might be unsettling, its taste is surprisingly satisfying, making it a fun snack to share.
