A helicopter crash in the municipality of Teocuitatlán de Corona, Jalisco, has resulted in four individuals being injured. Among them, two have serious injuries, while the other two are reported to have moderate injuries.
This incident was reported by Jalisco’s Civil Protection on the afternoon of July 23. They provided details about the number of people hurt and confirmed that the crash occurred near the Guadalajara-Colima highway.
In a message shared on social media, Civil Protection stated, "We are responding to the helicopter crash on land adjacent to the @Operaciongdlcol highway in the municipality of Teocuitatlán de Corona, in coordination with local authorities."
Images circulating on social media show the visibly damaged helicopter, with some individuals lying near the aircraft. One image features a man dressed in navy blue clothing and another in denim pants, along with a third individual with long hair wearing a gray shirt.
All the injured parties were taken to the Sayula First Contact Hospital. It is important to note that no fatalities have been reported following the accident.
Some components of the aircraft appeared to have detached upon impact.
