When Ale Capetillo, the daughter of Biby Gaytán and Eduardo Capetillo, starred in the ¡HOLA! Novias special back in November 2022, she could never have imagined that just a couple of years later, she would be planning her own wedding. Following her engagement to Nader, her boyfriend since early last year, Ale shared the details of the special moment when he proposed. Overwhelmed with emotion, the future bride expressed her gratitude to her online community for the outpouring of love they showed after she shared the wonderful news.
Still in disbelief, Ale couldn’t contain her joy, exclaiming, "I can’t talk about this without getting emotional." Before she’s shared her feelings about the engagement, she mentioned, “I wanted to post a video to thank you all. I know it will never be enough to express my gratitude for all your messages and the lovely vibes. I feel this video can’t fully capture my appreciation for you. You’ve brought an unmatchable smile to my face over the past few days.”
She revealed that her engagement coincided with several personal milestones, including a move with Nader and the launch of her clothing line, a project she has been working on since before she left Mexico. “I love you all with all my heart. Get ready because a wedding is coming! It’s going to be a year of planning. We have a lot to plan: a wedding, a move, a clothing brand, and our personal lives. Help me out! But thanks to God,” said Ale, proudly showcasing a whimsical engagement gift from a friend – a handbag shaped like an apron.
Her engagement announcement also sparked reactions from her loved ones. One of the first to respond was her mother, Biby Gaytán, who expressed her joy from afar: “My life. Huge congratulations! We could not be happier for you both. You are two wonderful people deserving of all the happiness. May God continue to bless you, and may your life always be surrounded by love.” Ale’s sister, Ana Pau, chimed in with, “You are my favorite love story forever.”
Ale Capetillo also shared some of the heartfelt reactions from her loved ones after the engagement, which took place during a surprise trip to Granada, Spain. She immediately called her parents and made a video call with her best friends, including Nicole Peña, the daughter of former Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto. Nicole couldn’t hold back her tears, declaring, “My best friend is getting married!” as she shared a screenshot of the emotional call among friends.
