Artists placing their hands in cement has been a tradition at Billy Bob’s for more than two decades. Many of the club’s showcased artists have been honored with various awards and accolades. For some, however, their favorite honor is being part of what is now known as Billy Bob’s ‘Wall of Fame’. Patrons can visit the Wall of Fame and see the handprints and autographs of Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and even Ringo Starr, to name a few. Many fans enjoy comparing their hand size to the celebrities.

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to be a part of the team here at 101.3 TODAY’S KFDI! How did I get here? Here comes the short version! Born in England, moved to California when I was 7, grew up in Maine from about age 11 on! I was a commercial fisherman in Maine long before radio. I’ve worked on landscaping crews, dairy farms, and in retail stores…..then one night, radio came up in discussion and I was off. I’ve lived in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Florida, weeks in Monroe, Louisiana (but I don’t talk about that much…LOL), Virginia, and now I’m here in Wichita where I have been since 2014 and I couldn’t be happier. Now for the fun stuff!
SOME FAVORITE ARTISTS: Luke Combs, Ian Munsik, Kenny Chesney, Lainey Wilson, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton, and Darius Rucker just to name a few.
PETS: Rhodesian Ridgeback (Silas); Cat (Maverick), Cat (Leia); Pitbull (Gimli) and Golden Doodle named KC in honor of the planes at McConnell.
HOBBIES: Cooking, Photography, Hiking/Walking, Movies, Travel, writing.
CRAZIEST RADIO STUNT: Jumped out of a plane….want to ride a bull and be in a Demo Derby.
WHY I LOVE RADIO: I love what I do because I have met some amazing people as listeners over the years and have done some amazing things to raise money for charity and bring awareness to causes. I believe wholeheartedly in the work that St. Jude Children’s Hospital does. I ring bells for the Salvation Army. I donate blood and platelets on a regular basis. At the end of the day, I believe radio has the power to do amazing things within its own community… and I love being a part of that. I can’t imagine doing anything else! I hope to get to say hi to each and every one of you who have taken the time to read this. Thanks for listening!
