The “Putting the Horror in Comics” panel will take place in Room 28DE from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Jonathan James will be joined by an impressive lineup of special guests, including bestselling and award-winning comics writer Scott Snyder, known for works like “Wytches” and “Book of Evil.” Also on the panel is Abigail Jill Harding, a 2024 Eisner Award-nominated writer/artist famous for “Parliament of Rooks” and “Ask For Mercy.”
Screenwriter and producer Rodney Barnes, known for “Killadelphia,” will share his insights, along with Bram Stoker Award-winning artist Soo Lee, celebrated for “Carmilla: The First Vampire.” Actor and writer David Dastmalchian, who created “Count Crowley,” will also be present, as well as artist Dan Panosian, known for “Canary” and “Black Tape.” Rounding out the panel is writer Michael Conrad, recognized for “Tremor Dose” and “Double Walker.”

Comic-Con International’s biggest day, Saturday, July 27, will also feature other major events, including the return of Marvel Studios. After missing last year due to actor and writer strikes, Marvel Studios is back with president Kevin Feige, who is known for making significant announcements and bringing movie stars to the convention.
Other notable events include the new Batman show “Penguin” on HBO, starring Colin Farrell, and several Star Trek shows from Paramount+. The cast of “My Adventures with Superman” and Apple TV+’s “Silo” will also be present.
For fans of television comedies, the “Ghosts” panel will feature stars and executive producers discussing the season 3 cliffhanger and upcoming season 4. “My Adventures with Superman” will have a panel with executive producers and voice cast members answering questions and providing a sneak peek into season 3.

Keanu Reeves’ “BRZRKR” panel will discuss the journey of the series and reveal new details about its future.
“American Dad!” will celebrate its enduring success with a panel featuring stars and executive producers. The “DC’s Gotham” panel will provide news and surprises involving Batman and other protectors of Gotham City. The “Star Trek Universe” panel will feature conversations with cast and producers from various Star Trek series.
“Family Guy” will celebrate 25 years with a panel featuring the iconic cast and executive producers. “The Last Ronin” panel will give fans an exclusive look behind the making of the TMNT story. The “Prime Video’s Batman: Caped Crusader” panel will discuss key storylines and offer a world-premiere screening of the new season.
The “Marvel Comics: X-Men” panel will discuss the new era of storytelling for the X-Men, and the “Silo” panel will provide a sneak peek at the highly anticipated season 2. “The Man in the White Van” panel will delve into the making of the tension-filled thriller based on actual events.
Comic book creator Robert Kirkman will take the stage for a Q&A, discussing “Invincible,” “The Walking Dead,” “Transformers,” and “G.I. Joe.” The “Penguin” panel will feature Colin Farrell and other cast members discussing the upcoming HBO series.
The “Interview with the Vampire/Mayfair Witches” panel will discuss the second season of “Interview with the Vampire” and the new season of “Mayfair Witches.” The “Blood of Zeus” panel will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the hit Netflix series.
