Timberlake was pulled over by Sag Harbor police around 12:37 a.m. on June 18. According to the police report, he was driving a 2025 BMW and failed to stop at a stop sign, subsequently swerving out of his lane. Officers noted that Timberlake’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and there was a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Despite his claims of having “one martini” and following friends home, Timberlake performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
The arresting officer described Timberlake as unsteady on his feet, with slowed speech and an inability to divide his attention. Timberlake refused a chemical sobriety test three times, stating, “No, I’m not doing a chemical test.” He was subsequently arrested and held overnight for arraignment.
