Khloe Kardashian is set to embark on a new venture, teaming up with Elon Musk’s social media platform X for an exclusive video podcast series. This collaboration marks a significant move for both Kardashian and X, as they aim to enhance the platform’s video content offerings.
Since Elon Musk’s acquisition of X in 2022 for $44 billion, the platform has undergone numerous changes, with a strong focus on expanding its live content, including videos. The addition of Khloe Kardashian to X’s roster of content creators is a major step in this direction.
The podcast, which will consist of 26 episodes, is scheduled to debut in the fall of 2024. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will blend Kardashian’s unique sense of humor with her relatable personality, addressing a wide range of topics from everyday issues to more unusual dilemmas.
This podcast is part of X’s “Originals on X” initiative, which aims to launch exclusive video content with prominent creators. The deal includes a 24-hour exclusive window on X before the videos can be shared on other platforms.
X CEO Linda Yaccarino expressed her excitement about the partnership, stating, “When thinking about the bold voices with global reach that X wants to stand behind, Khloe Kardashian is our perfect partner.” She emphasized X’s commitment to empowering creators and providing them with a platform to showcase their vision to a global audience.
Khloe Kardashian also shared her enthusiasm for the project in a tweet, saying, “I’m so excited to share that I’m launching my first video podcast series this fall! This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I can’t wait.”
The collaboration with Kardashian follows several other deals X has signed for sports content, including reality sports docuseries and partnerships with organizations like WWE and NBCUniversal for Olympic highlights. Kardashian’s massive social media following, with 30 million followers on X and 309 million on Instagram, makes her a valuable addition to the platform.
Kardashian, known for her role in the long-running reality series “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” has continued to stay in the public eye with the new series “The Kardashians” on Hulu. Her new podcast on X is expected to attract a significant audience, given her popularity and engaging personality.
The podcast will be produced by PAVE Studios’ OpenMind, with founder Max Cutler serving as Executive Producer. Cutler highlighted the alignment between Kardashian’s natural curiosity and OpenMind’s mission to create thought-provoking and meaningful content.
Recently, Kardashian has expressed a desire to focus on her family and businesses, limiting outside distractions like dating. She shares two children, Tatum and True, with her ex-partner, basketball star Tristan Thompson.
As X continues to expand its video content offerings, the addition of Khloe Kardashian’s podcast is a strategic move to attract a broader audience and enhance the platform’s appeal. With her engaging personality and massive following, Kardashian’s podcast is poised to be a significant success on X.
