Kim Zolciak to Pay $2500 Target Bill Amid Debt and Divorce

Kim Zolciak has been ordered to pay a $2,482.24 Target bill as she grapples with mounting debt and a contentious divorce from Kroy Biermann. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, a Georgia judge ruled in favor of Target National Bank, which claimed that the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star had “failed, neglected and refused” to settle her credit card debt.

The court’s decision, made in March, also requires Zolciak to cover $131.14 in legal fees. The reality star, who opened her Target credit card in December 2007, last made a payment of $500 in September 2022. Despite the legal action, Zolciak did not respond to the complaint, leading the judge to rule in favor of the bank.

Representatives for Zolciak, 46, were not immediately available for comment. This Target bill is just one of many financial issues plaguing the former Bravolebrity. She and her estranged husband reportedly owe more than $1 million in taxes to the IRS, with debts accumulating from unpaid interests and penalties dating back to 2013.

Their $4.5 million Georgia mansion is also at risk of foreclosure for the second time. In April, their bank lender, Truist, issued a warning, giving them until May 3 to contest the foreclosure in court. Zolciak and Biermann rushed to court to request a delay in the foreclosure date. They have been trying to sell their mansion since October 2023, initially listing it for $6 million but slashing the price multiple times due to a lack of interest.

In February 2023, the couple faced foreclosure after allegedly missing payments on a $1.65 million loan taken out for the property in 2016. They managed to resolve the issue before their home was auctioned off. To cope with their financial woes, Zolciak has gone to great lengths, including selling her skincare brand and listing her designer wardrobe for sale online.

Biermann, 38, has also faced personal finance issues. He previously alleged that Zolciak’s gambling problem led her to “spending substantial time and marital funds on gambling and other games of chance.” These accusations were part of the couple’s initial divorce filing in May 2023, which also claimed that Zolciak’s addiction was so severe that she was unable to care for their shared children: Kroy, 13, Kash, 11, and 10-year-old twins Kaia and Kane.

Zolciak also shares Brielle Biermann, 27, and Ariana Biermann, 22, from past relationships. The drama between Zolciak and Biermann has been ongoing, with both parties racing to the courthouse to file for divorce after 11 years of marriage. They have been locked in a bitter custody battle, with Biermann suggesting their kids needed protection from Zolciak due to her allegedly “abusive” behavior. Zolciak has called these allegations “harmful … lies.”

The financial strain has been evident, with Zolciak and Biermann’s tax debt accumulating from unpaid interests and penalties dating back to 2013. Their Georgia mansion, valued at $4.5 million, is also in danger of foreclosure for the second time.
