Kourtney Kardashian Barker is opening up about her postpartum cravings and life after welcoming her son, Rocky Thirteen, with husband Travis Barker. The Lemme co-founder, 45, shared in a recent episode of “The Kardashians” that she had a particular craving for Ritz Bits after giving birth last November. While shooting a promotion for her gummy vitamin brand, Lemme, Kardashian Barker’s long-time friend and PR expert Simon Huck asked her about her craziest post-pregnancy craving. “Like a naughty thing I was craving was Ritz Bits. I had to eat like a pack of them a day,” she revealed.
Kardashian Barker also shared that she stayed home for 40 days after giving birth to Rocky. Speaking with her sisters Kim and Khloé Kardashian during a previous episode, Kourtney explained her decision. “I’m doing, like, where you stay home for 40 days,” she said. Khloé, surprised, asked, “You’re staying home for 40 days and 40 nights?” In a confessional, Kourtney elaborated, “In many different cultures, women don’t leave the house after having a baby for 40 days, to let your body have that time to heal and beyond that. I’m really into attachment parenting. I really don’t separate from him. I love being at home right now, like my time is dedicated to taking care of my baby and bonding with him.”
The episode then switched back to the first scene, where Khloé joked with Kourtney, “Then you’re gonna go to a rave.” Kourtney responded, “No, I just feel like I don’t wanna even go anywhere still.” Khloé humorously added, “Welcome to my daily life. I haven’t had a baby and I’m still doing the 40 days.”
Kourtney Kardashian also gave a life update on her and Travis Barker’s son, Rocky Thirteen, during a Q&A on her Instagram Story. When a fan asked for tips on getting a baby to nap without being held, Kourtney responded, “Enjoy every second! We do the same. He’s never been in his crib. Also lots of optimizing my health.” She clarified that she and Barker conceived their son naturally. “I want to be super clear because it seems my answer to the IVF question may have been confusing. I got pregnant 100% naturally, NOT through IVF… one year after stopping IVF actually. Through God’s blessing, on Valentine’s Day.”
In October, Kardashian discussed how becoming pregnant at 44 differed from her earlier pregnancies. “This time, unlike the other three, I was followed by a different group of doctors, who gave me many restrictions in the first months. No workouts, no Pilates, no caffeine, and no plane trips,” she told Vanity Fair Italia. “Even no sex! I think all this caution made me a little afraid because, in the past, I never had to be so careful.”
