Kylie Jenner Breaks Down in Tears on ‘The Kardashians’ Over Comments About Her Age

Kylie Jenner recently had an emotional moment on the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” shedding light on the impact of negative comments about her appearance. The 26-year-old reality star and beauty mogul broke down in tears while discussing the relentless scrutiny she has faced over the years.

In a heartfelt conversation with her older sister, Kendall Jenner, Kylie opened up about the toll that public criticism has taken on her. “People have been talking about my looks since I was 13. It just gets exhausting,” she said, tears streaming down her face. Kendall, visibly moved, also began to cry, showing solidarity with her younger sister.

Kylie further elaborated in a confessional, admitting, “I hear nasty things about myself all the time.” She confessed that despite her strong exterior, the constant negativity does affect her. “I’ve never cried about this before, but I guess it does affect me,” she admitted.

Throughout the years, Kylie has been the subject of intense public scrutiny, particularly regarding her appearance. In Season 3 of the show, she addressed the rumors and misconceptions about her undergoing extensive plastic surgery. “I always remember being the most confident kid in the room,” she said. “I always loved myself — I still love myself. One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false. I’ve only gotten fillers.”

Kylie also pointed out that some of her insecurities were exacerbated by her family. She recalled how comments about her ears from her sisters made her self-conscious. “You don’t realize how you guys always talked about my ears?” she asked, to which Khloé Kardashian responded that she only ever commented on them because she loved them. However, Kylie explained, “I received it like everyone was making fun of my ears, calling them dopey. Like that f—– me up.”

The birth of her daughter, Stormi, brought a new perspective for Kylie. Realizing that Stormi had the same ears as her, she began to embrace her unique features. “For five years, I never wore an updo on a red carpet or to an event. But once I had my daughter Stormi and realized she had the same ears as me, my whole perspective changed,” she shared.

The episode also touched on the recent online discussions about Kylie’s appearance during Paris Fashion Week. Photos and videos of her sparked speculation, with some fans and medical experts analyzing her looks. Kylie revealed that the harsh commentary came after she consciously decided to wear less makeup to the runway show. She addressed the speculation about the lines on her cheeks, noting that she has had them for many years.

After enduring over a decade of negative comments, Kylie expressed feeling “so numb” and questioned why people think it’s acceptable to speak or write such rude things. Kendall suggested that their family has been “dehumanized” by the public, making it easier for people to criticize them without considering their feelings.

In a candid moment, Kylie confirmed that she has been gradually dissolving her lip fillers. “I went on a journey [in] the last year of dissolving half [my] lip filler,” she said. Despite the scrutiny, she emphasized the importance of rising above the hate and maintaining her confidence.

Kylie also refuted the narrative that she deserves to have her looks picked apart because she “did it to herself.” She expressed frustration over the mean comments that attempt to justify the criticism. “It’s just like, why do people think it’s OK to talk about me?” she questioned.

Kendall reassured her sister, telling her she has “never looked younger” and “never looked better.” Kylie, in her confessional, highlighted the importance of staying strong and confident despite the negativity. “I think that I’m really strong, and I was put in this position for a reason. I do think of myself as a confident person. I’m also human and there’s only so much one person can take,” she concluded.

The Kardashians can be streamed on Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally, with new episodes dropping weekly.
