Kylie Jenner Breaks Down Over ‘Nasty’ Online Comments: ‘Why Do People Think It’s Okay to Talk About Me?’

Kylie Jenner has reached her breaking point with the relentless online criticism about her appearance. In a recent episode of “The Kardashians,” the 26-year-old reality star opened up to her sister Kendall Jenner about the emotional toll that years of negative comments have taken on her.

During their conversation, Kylie recalled a specific incident where she was criticized for looking “old” at the Jean Paul Gaultier show. She had chosen to wear a sheer dress with minimal makeup, hoping to avoid the usual critiques about wearing too much makeup. However, the trolls were quick to pounce, commenting on her appearance in unflattering light.

“It’s like a miracle I still have confidence and can look in the mirror and think that I’m pretty,” Kylie confessed to Kendall. She explained that she has always faced criticism, whether she wears a lot of makeup or not. The comments about her looking “old” were particularly hurtful, as she pointed out that she has had lines on her face since she was a child.

In a confessional, Kylie shared that she hears nasty things about herself all the time. “I don’t think it’s this particular headline that makes me feel vulnerable or hits me harder. I think it’s just after 10+ years, it just gets exhausting,” she said.

Kylie admitted to her sister that she has become numb to the constant scrutiny of her looks. She questioned why people think it’s acceptable to comment on her appearance and why no one defends her. Kendall suggested that their family has been dehumanized, making it seem like there are no rules when it comes to them. “For some reason, for us, they don’t think we have any feelings,” Kendall added.

Despite already dissolving half of her lip filler over the past year, Kylie felt like she was having the same conversations on repeat. “It feels like a waste of my breath because I think with me, it’s never gonna change,” she said, breaking down in tears. “Why do people think it’s okay to talk about me?” she asked, visibly emotional.

Kylie acknowledged that some fans do defend her, but their support is often overshadowed by others who believe she deserves the criticism because of her alleged surgeries. “Even if I did get so much surgery, I still don’t think it’s okay to talk about someone’s looks,” she stated. She emphasized that people have been talking about her looks since she was 12 or 13, long before she got lip fillers, and it’s always been hurtful.

Kendall reassured her sister, telling her that she has “never looked younger and never looked better.” She added that they likely won’t change anyone’s opinions and will have to develop tough skin to deal with the negativity.

In her confessional, Kylie expressed a more confident outlook, saying she “cannot let the comments get me down” and vowed to “rise above” because she has “s–t to do.”

The episode highlighted the emotional impact of years of online criticism on Kylie Jenner, showing a more vulnerable side of the reality star. Despite the hurtful comments, she remains determined to stay confident and rise above the negativity. New episodes of “The Kardashians” are available on Hulu.
