Kylie Jenner is doing her best to keep her boyfriend, actor Timothée Chalamet, away from her family’s reality show. The 26-year-old television star has been in front of the camera since childhood, first gaining fame on the E! series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and currently as part of the cast of its Hulu reboot, “The Kardashians.” However, it appears she is determined not to give in to her mother Kris Jenner’s desire to feature Timothée on the show.
A source close to Kylie shared with DailyMail.com, “Kylie and Timothée are doing really well because Kylie isn’t pushing him to be part of the Kardashians’ TV show. Kris would love for Timothée to flaunt Kylie everywhere, but Kylie refuses because she doesn’t want their relationship to become more of a spectacle than it already is. She wants to nurture the relationship and ensure it lasts.”
The insider also noted that the relationship is serious, with both Kylie and Timothée very committed to each other. They mentioned, “He wants to be with Kylie for a long time. When will they have kids? When is the engagement? When is the future wedding? While those topics are definitely on the table, it’s not something they’re planning for the immediate future.”
The couple has been dating since last year, but their busy schedules have recently put some distance between them. Timothée is currently in New York working on his biopic about Bob Dylan, titled “A Complete Unknown,” while Kylie remains in California with her two young children from her previous relationship with rapper Travis Scott.
Despite the distance, they are making efforts to keep their relationship strong, flying back and forth to see one another regularly. A recent insider told PEOPLE magazine, “Things are going very well with Timothée. Kylie is happy. They are both really busy, but they make time to see each other, especially on weekends. He’s been working in New York, and she’s visited him, while he’s also come back to Los Angeles some weekends. They are doing everything they can to make it work.”
