Kylie Kelce experienced a miscarriage before the birth of her first child. The 31-year-old from Philadelphia is married to NFL player Jason Kelce, 36. They are the parents of Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 18 months. Kylie has gained attention worldwide since her brother-in-law Jason began dating pop superstar Taylor Swift. Recently, she addressed rumors about being pregnant and spoke candidly about her personal loss.
In a TikTok video, she shared, "Since midway through last football season, several articles have been written about me claiming that I’m pregnant. I’m not. I had a miscarriage before Wyatt. I went for my 13-week ultrasound, and there was no heartbeat. I had to undergo a D&E [dilation and evacuation] a few days later. So, I don’t take pregnancy or trying to conceive lightly. Let parents share when they are ready and in a good place to do so."
In the caption of her social media post, Kylie also revealed that she has received "congratulations" for her supposed pregnancy on multiple occasions. She decided to speak out after one follower sent her an intrusive direct message.
She explained, "I’ve received in-person congratulations several times. Strangers have asked me as well. The most aggressive instance was when a random woman DM’d me asking if I had a miscarriage because one outlet that said I was pregnant retracted the story, claiming I hadn’t announced it because I lost the baby. Let’s do better."
Just a few days ago, Kylie hinted that she and her husband might be expecting a fourth child. In an interview with The Strategist from New York Magazine, she mentioned, "We’re swapping out the clothes we bought for our first daughter for our little one, so we’ve been using a lot of second-hand clothes… Hanna Anderson pajamas last forever. We still have some packed away, just in case we have a fourth. It’s the best investment."
