Martina Benvenutto, a friend of Álvaro Muñoz Escassi, appeared on the show “¡De viernes!” to discuss her friendship with the rider and how she got to know María José Suárez. This conversation comes in the wake of the controversy surrounding the breakup of Álvaro and María José.

Martina recounted her first encounter with María José during an event in Mallorca. She observed that the couple seemed happy and in love, noting the chemistry between them. “Mallorca is a beautiful island, perfect for fun moments. We had a great time together, all three of us, relaxing and enjoying ourselves.”
When asked about the model’s claim that she never had an intimate relationship with Álvaro, Martina neither confirmed nor denied it, saying, “She must have her reasons for saying that.”
Ultimately, she hinted that there could be nuances in those statements: “She says she hasn’t had relationships with more than one person at a time, whether it’s a woman, a man, or whatever. Everyone can say what they like; I choose to believe my friend’s version.”
