In this context, the team at Canal E spoke with real estate developer Gustavo Ortolá, who shared insights about the current state of the sector. He mentioned that the capital amnesty was regulated last Wednesday, allowing it to be applied to developments that are at least 50% complete. According to Ortolá, “Funds can be used at no cost if utilized under this framework.”
He also noted the importance of determining if this initiative can be extended to other properties. “If funds are deposited by the end of September, there are no costs associated with amnesty for amounts less than $100,000,” he added.
In line with this, Ortolá encourages his clients to take advantage of this tool for investing in real estate. He concluded by stating that any amount can be applied to a construction project.
