Nicolas Cage never imagined he would have three children with three different women. The 60-year-old actor has a 33-year-old son named Weston with his ex-partner Christina Fulton, an 18-year-old son named Kal-El with his ex-wife Alice Kim, and a 22-month-old daughter named August with Riko Shibata. He mentioned that each experience has been unique.
When asked about what he is currently reading, Cage told The New Yorker, "Well, my reading isn’t where it should be. I’ve been very focused on raising my daughter, who will be two years old in September. The books that draw me in are usually those where I feel I know what I’m going to encounter in terms of translation, or there is no translation at all. They tend to be in English, so I don’t worry about the words being altered by the author’s choices. I have two older sons. Each experience is different. Each child has a different mother. It’s not what I initially thought would happen when I fell in love or got married—that I would have three kids with three different mothers—but that’s the reality. Each child is different, and there’s a different level of attention required for each."
Meanwhile, the Oscar-winning star is currently filming a live-action series based on ‘Spider-Man Noir’ for Amazon Prime. He admitted that he feels "terrified" by the use of artificial intelligence technology being implemented behind the scenes.
Cage expressed his concerns, saying, "They have to put me in a computer and match my eye color and change… I don’t know. They’re going to steal my body and do what they want with it through digital artificial intelligence… God, I hope it’s not I.A. That terrifies me. I’ve talked a lot about this."
