Normal People stars Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones have finally shared the much-anticipated news they’ve been hinting at.
On Thursday night, the duo took to Instagram to clarify the speculation surrounding their announcement. They expressed regret for any confusion caused, as many fans hoped for a second season of the beloved series.
“We are incredibly sorry if we led people on, it’s not a season two announcement,” Paul stated.
Daisy chimed in, “Not yet! There’s still time, keep the faith.”
The British actress further revealed that they are organizing a charity raffle. Supporters of the cause will have a chance to win tickets to a marathon screening of the first season of Normal People.
This special screening is set to take place at a central London cinema in June. Winners will get the unique opportunity to meet Paul, Daisy, and other members of the cast and crew.
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Pieta and UNICEF, with over €12,000 already raised by Thursday evening.
