Patrick and Brittany Mahomes Cuddle Up for Taylor Swift’s ‘Lover’ with Travis Kelce

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes were all smiles and affection at Taylor Swift’s final Eras Tour show in Amsterdam. The couple, both 28, were seen sharing a tender moment as they watched Swift perform her hit song “Lover” on Saturday, July 6. A fan account on Instagram captured the sweet scene, showing Patrick and Brittany linking arms and singing along to the music.

Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs star, was also present with the Mahomes couple at the Johan Cruijff Arena. Kelce, 34, joined in the fun, singing along to the track behind them. At one point, Brittany placed her hand on Patrick’s chest, and the two exchanged a loving glance. Kelce, meanwhile, made a half-heart gesture, a nod to his girlfriend on stage.

During another part of the show, Brittany was seen checking on Kelce, who appeared emotional while watching Swift’s mashup of “Mary’s Song,” “So High School,” and “Everything Has Changed.” A video posted on X (formerly Twitter) showed Kelce wiping his face as Swift sang the closing lyrics to “Mary’s Song,” which included a reference to his 87 jersey number and the pair’s birth year. The lyrics went, “I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89 / I’ll still look at you like the stars that shine / In the sky, oh my my my.”

Before attending the concert, Brittany hinted at their plans by sharing a photo of herself and Patrick on a private jet. “To our next destination we go,” she wrote, adding a happy face emoji. The couple had also attended Wimbledon in London on July 5, just a day before the concert.

Kelce had previously attended Swift’s second Amsterdam show on Friday, July 5. The Chiefs player has been a regular at Swift’s recent concerts in Europe, including shows in Ireland and London. Notably, he appeared onstage with Swift for the first time at Wembley Stadium.

Patrick Mahomes has been credited with playing a role in Kelce and Swift’s relationship. During an appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show,’ Patrick revealed that he invited Kelce to his first Taylor Swift concert. “He was sitting in my suite, so I feel like I was the matchmaker. I had some input in there as well, I was like, dude, just go for it, just go for it and you know Travis man, he does it,” Patrick shared.

Patrick, who plays alongside Kelce at the Kansas City Chiefs, expressed his happiness for his teammate. “He’s a great dude and I’m glad it’s all worked out for the best,” he said. Patrick also noted that Taylor Swift has helped elevate the Chiefs to a global team. Speaking to Time magazine, he explained, “[The Chiefs] went from a nationwide team that was kind of global to a full global worldwide team. That came from Taylor’s fanbase.”

The Chiefs have embraced the extra attention that has come their way in recent months. “We like having that visibility. At the end of the day, football has always been this bruising sport. We want to make it fun, where kids grow up and play football and show their personality and be who they are,” Patrick added.

Despite her fame and success, Patrick has been impressed by Taylor’s down-to-earth attitude and work ethic. “I’ve met a lot of famous people now in my life. Taylor’s probably the most down-to-earth person that’s been on that stage for that long. She’s never not working. Even when she’s taking her downtime, she’s working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks,” he said.

The trio’s attendance at Swift’s Amsterdam show was a highlight for fans, who enjoyed seeing the close bond between Patrick, Brittany, and Kelce. The concert was a memorable experience for all, filled with music, emotion, and heartfelt moments.
