Prince William’s 42nd Birthday Selfie with Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce
Prince William celebrated his 42nd birthday in style by attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London. The Prince of Wales, along with his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte, enjoyed the first night of Swift’s tour stop at Wembley Stadium.
The highlight of the evening was a memorable selfie featuring Prince William, Taylor Swift, and NFL star Travis Kelce. Swift shared the photo on Instagram, captioning it, “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start.” The image also included a smiling Prince George and Princess Charlotte, with Prince William beaming in the middle.
During the concert, Prince William was spotted dancing enthusiastically to Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off,” much to the delight of the crowd. This isn’t the first time the future king has shown his musical side; he famously performed a karaoke rendition of Jon Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” at a 2013 Kensington Palace fundraiser.
Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, also joined the group for the selfie, adding to the star-studded moment. The concert was attended by nearly 90,000 fans, including other celebrities like Nicola Coughlan, Cara Delevingne, and Jonathan Van Ness.
Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton, was not in attendance as she is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. However, she marked his birthday earlier in the day by sharing a touching photo of William jumping on a beach with their three children.
The royal family recently appeared at the Trooping the Colour event to celebrate King Charles III’s traditional birthday, which was Kate’s first public appearance since Christmas Day 2023.
