Princess Ana ‘remembers nothing’ of the head injury that forced her to be hospitalized.

Princess Anne recently made a public appearance after recovering from a head injury that required hospitalization. At 73 years old, she shared that she remembers "nothing" from the traumatic incident, which occurred on June 23 at her estate in Gatcombe Park, Gloucestershire.

During her visit to the National Riding Championships for the RDA, Princess Anne sported a noticeable bruise under her left eye. This event marked her gradual return to public life following her medical treatment. It is believed that her injuries resulted from an accident involving a horse, as suggested by her doctors.

Helena Vega Lozano, president of RDA UK, spoke to the Daily Mail at the event, emphasizing how significant it was for the princess to attend. She remarked, "It’s a great honor for the princess to come to the RDA as her first event since the accident. Upon getting out of the car, she said, ‘I don’t remember anything.’ It’s very motivating and inspiring to have her here."

For the visit, Princess Anne chose a stylish olive green tweed suit, paired with a hat and navy gloves. Her connection to the RDA began in 1971 when she became its patron, and she took on the role of president in 1986.

Although her engagement was shorter than usual, lasting just under an hour instead of the planned two hours, it was filled with warmth. Michael Bishop, the Executive Director of the RDA, expressed his delight at her attendance. He noted, "We are thrilled that she could come. Her commitment to the RDA is well known and greatly welcomed. The princess was in great form. It was a pleasure to see her again. She was very engaged, chatting with all the volunteers and participants, and even shared a few jokes. She recognized many of the volunteers as well."
